Always attentive and even though he had a huge party he was dealing with as well as other tables he kept up kept a smile and remained professional and warm at all timesMore infoYardbird Table & Bar - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• River North (Chicago)•4.6
- TTerriChicago / Illinois •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoTook hubby here for his birthday. This was our second time visiting. The food was just as we remembered, if not even better! We started off with the gumbo, which was hearty in itself. My husband had the Short ribs, which were tender and flavorful. I had the blackened catfish, which was flaky, seasoned well, and melted in my mouth. We also ordered as sides: collard greens, mac n cheese, and cornbread. OMG, I could've lived off the cornbread alone! Greens were cooked to perfection, and mac n cheese was creamy but not overly cheesy. Needless to say, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, and we had a lot of leftovers. The service was top-notch, and it was a great experience overall. It is a small space, so be prepared to maybe sit a little close to other patrons. It was cool for us, great conversation. We will definitely be back, try something else, and remember those sides are enough to 2👍🏾More infoVirtuePrice: Expensive• Southern• Hyde Park•4.9

This place is amazing: the quality of food, overall atmosphere and hospitality - it feels like every details there is made to make you feel like home. We ordered a couple of drinks (Smoked Cherry was a top notch), appetisers and mains (Lamb, salmon) - everything was cooked to perfection. Special thanks to our waitress for outstanding service (If you are reading this - you did a great job!), the cooks & to John for complimentary champagne and being so nice :) You, guys, do an amazing job. We will for sure be back! Overall: 5/5More infoBlue Door Kitchen & GardenPrice: Moderate• American• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.6

That was so cool! The drink specials were very affordable. I had a glass of the red blend which was $7.25. I enjoyed the taste and appreciated that it wasn't an over priced glass of wine. The shareable appetizers were fairly priced and the portions were generous. We tried the cornbread and the macaroni and cheese. Both were tasty and I'm normally not a fan of cornbread in general. It had a sweet spicy taste combination going on as it had jalapenos in it but not overbearing to make it too spicy. I ordered the Salmon BLT. OMG!!!!!! It was so delicious! It was so flavorful and had some sort of sauce on it that had a little kick and I loved it! The fries were real potatoes which I appreciate in this faux food world today. My friend got the Salmon entree and the Salmon looked so moist and she said it was flavorful as well. As we closed out, our server said they didn't take cash. That was a bit surprising but in today's world who really ever uses cash. I just happened to have some on me that day but this didn't take away from the experience at all. I will definitely return! We are already planning to return in the Summer for happy hour! Looking forward to it.More infoTaste 222Price: Expensive• American• West Loop•4.9
