Meal was okay, had the PEASANT PIE which was nice. I was disappointed in the limited menu for Valentine’s Day. It would have been good to know the menu was significantly reduced during this period when I made the reservation on Open Table. No bread served (even though bread plates and butter knives were part of the place setting) was also disappointing.

Sitting next to a floor heater I thought it would be warm. It was absolutely freezing in the restaurant which in turn means your food gets cold fast. The appetizers were 4 stars would be 5 if the escargot wasn’t served with bread from Costco’s last week grocery shop. It was so hard and stale you guys can definitely do better most high end restaurants actually take the time to make their own bread. You should give that a try it goes a long way. The main course was good pickerel and pork chop was delicious but again the effort seams to lack on the side dishes. Almost as if the chefs exhausted after doing the main dish and just throws out whatever can be mustard upped for accompaniment. Desert was definitely disappointing they didn’t save the best for last. Service was a 10/10 our waiter was top notch and if we came back it would be for the service not the food. 2025 Valentines T&D

The servers and drinks were good but the food was not worth the cost and seemed beneath the quality and taste I usually have from meals at Peasant Cookery. Too bad it was on Valentine’s Day.

Salad was wonderful. Soup was great. Reuben sandwich was over grilled, actually black. Pastrami could have been shaved.

Best ribs ever and Amazing oysters! Don't let the word "dry" ribs fool you, the ribs are the best I have ever tasted. Super soft, tender, juice. "Fall off the bone" is an understatement. It tastes like pork belly! The oysters are super fresh and a delight! A buck a shuck means 4 dozens for us! Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing experience at Peasant. The service was above and beyond, with staff that were attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The cocktails were top-notch, truly high-end, and the wine list offered some excellent premium selections. As a vegan, I was happy with the couple options they had — the vegan mac and cheese was absolutely delicious, and the salad can be easily modified without dairy. My husband also really enjoyed his dishes. This spot is perfect for a date night or even a small intimate group or party. Highly recommend! Let me know if you want any tweaks!

Lively cozy with experienced staff that really make the dining experience memorable. Lots of interesting choices on the menu- quite a few new items like in house made duck prosciutto flatbread and of course on Wednesdays you can’t beat fresh perfectly shucked oysters for a buck each.

We had excellent service from Meredith. We tried the $49 Dine About special and we were impressed by the food! The worst thing was that the bathroom was freezing!

Great service. Delicious cocktails (I had the Smoking Jacket). The French Onion soup is right on point for a cold winter evening. Peasant Pie and Bison Bourgignon were very satisfying.

We had the FORESTIÈRE and SMOKED SALMON FLAMBÉE flatbreads, oysters, STEAK FRITES, and Creme brulee cheesecake. My brother in law had the steak. He said it was really good, but expected a bit more for the price. He assumed it would have come with vegetables as well as a side. The steak came with fries. He enjoyed his meal, but wasn’t the biggest fan of the gravy. The flatbreads, oysters, and cheesecake was delicious.
