A tale of two cities. This was a first time visit to the Parkside Rotisserie. The good: The Black Friday and Peg cocktails were delicious - and a nod to the Steely Dan theme. The salad Lyonnaise was extremely tasty and enjoyable. The bad: my wife and I both ordered steaks. Her steak frites was cooked properly, but was an extremely tough cut. I ordered the steak au poivre medium rare. The first order came out medium well and I was reluctant to send it back, but our server could plainly see that it was way overdone and insisted upon it. The re-made version came out cooked properly, however, it was one of the toughest pieces of sirloin I've had in a while. A second critique of my entree is that is was billed as "homemade tater tots". Not sure if it was just me, but it was hard to discern if these were actually homemade or just frozen and fried. The restaurant has some overall positives and a nice atmosphere, but generally when you pay over $50 for a steak - you expect something decent. It wouldn't recommend the steak here.

One of the best restaurants in Providence. I have been a number of times for both lunch and dinner. The food and service have been excellent on each occasion.

The food and staff are absolutely top shelf. Five stars for sure. The atmosphere is great, welcoming and relaxing. The owner is present and very engaging. An amazing menu and the best Steely Dan drink menu
