Paragary’s is a lively neighborhood restaurant with modern California flair, located in the heart of Midtown, Sacramento. The menu and bar program are dictated by the seasonal bounty of the Sacramento region. Originally established in 1983, the restaurant underwent an extensive remodel in 2015, combining both modern and traditional elements to create a relaxed, timeless environment that lets the food and drinks take center stage. The light and airy interior opens up to the renowned dining patio that features waterfalls, 60 year-old olive trees and a large fireplace.

Paragary's has been a family tradition for special occasions (as well as casual dining) because of their excellence for decades. Tonight was my father's 96th birthday, the first birthday without the 'love of his life' (mom, married almost 70 years passed in June). We went to celebrate both his birth and the many treasured times we shared. Our server was as sweet as can be, knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. Our food was outstanding and dad's special birthday desert delicious. We will continue to share our special times at Paragary's.

Most excellent! Thinking about going back there again tonight! Thoroughly enjoyed our food, the service and reasonably priced bottles of wine! in the courtyard outback is so gorgeous to look at from the dining room.

One of our favorite restaurants in Sacramento, unfortunately during this visit, we had a very disappointing experience . We came here to celebrate two of our friends Birthday (4 of us), we end up waiting forever with our food (we sat down at 6pm an didn’t leave until 9pm), the server admitted his mistake and the manager came to give us free round of drinks which we appreciate, unfortunately a round of drinks won’t cover a ruined birthday dinner for waiting more than an hour and half just to get a food, another problem is after finding out the food was not even started after we followed up, the server seems to start hiding from us and we end up waiting to get a drink order. Overall, we’re still recommending this place for others to try, food is great and will still consider to come back, bad service happen once in a while and can’t be the reason not to give this place another chance. Kudos to Eden who keeps checking on us.

One of our favorite places for a special night out...pasta (tagliatelle, pappardelle) dishes were excellent, the mussel appetizer with toast was a great opener, and the wine selection by the glass has regional and international choices. Our server was appropriately attentive and responsive, even though the place was packed, and I'm sure she was very busy. Good to see Midtown Sacramento's iconic restaurant doing so well!!
