Our service was wonderful, once we got to our table. The food was pretty good, but pricey. I think you just pay to eat on the beach. Beware, the portions are huge!!!!

Waitress was great but the restaurant was understaffed and service was very slow. Our dinner entries arrived at the same time as our appetizers.

The view was beautiful. I think they were short staff because it would take a very long time to get our food and to some to come ask if we were ok. I tried asking a staff member that was helping another table for some crackers and he totally ignored me, which I thought was very rude of him. Over priced and food not too good

The ambience is very nice can get crowded though. Food is definitely overpriced for what you get doesn’t taste outstanding/ memorable. Manager or owner came out when I sent food back to scold me which was annoying but I would still come back for the view but maybe just for an appetizer.

Paradise Cove is always a tranquil experience. However this time we had to wait about 30 minutes for a window table, even though we had a reservation. Also, there are no longer lounge chairs outside. They have been replaced with outdoor tables and umbrellas.

I have eaten here several times and always enjoyed my food however one has to be mindful it’s California prepared cuisine mildly seasoned etc …. My family wasn’t that impressed. I had the Barcelona combo minus all the rice it comes with and a bowl of clam chowder and remained full not eating afterwards for 24 hours . The scenery is always beautiful . The drinks are ok one will suffice .

Had the seafood cold platter. Poke and ceviche were not fresh. Very expensive for quality. Prices on menu are misleading. Turned out to be substantially more than indicated in open table. Health Covid fee charge of almost $6. Did not see anything outside of what most restaurants do for cleaning. Portions are huge so if quality is not an issue it may be your spot.

Food experience was great! On the other hand the service was not. Called to make a reservation first over the phone for 2 people, I asked for a table outside because I wanted the nice view, was told “ we will talk about seating when you get here” I said well I’m calling 4 hours ahead because I want to make sure I get a table outside, I’m sure it’s not too busy since is Wednesday, and not a weekend, I was told again “we will check for seating once you get here”. At that point I said ok. 5 min later I went ahead and did my reservations on the Open Table app, and out on my notes outside table, just to make sure. When I got to the restaurant I gave them my name, I’m sure they saw outdoor table, but then again they ask me if I wanted to seat inside because outside was too cold, I saw a lot of people outside and heat lamps were on so I said outside please. With Many open tables I was seated a a less far corner table, I asked if I can be moved and was told everything else was already reserved, after 10 mins a buss boy asked me if I wanted to move I said yes and he got me a better table with a heat lamp. After sitting for 12 min with nobody coming to my table I decide to get up and ask for someone to help me out, at least to take drink orders, once my server came to the table everything change. My server was great, got us drinks fast, had great energy, suggested food items and took my order in a timely matter. I finally got my calamari and it was great, we order a glass of wine and 2 beers, after that we shared a seafood Paella, it was delicious, a lot of food for just 2 people but it was cool to perfection, the rice was cooked perfectly and the flavors of the seafood were fresh! Food was excellent, service from my server was great, but Guest services was horrible from the moment I made my reservation to the moment I was seated. I really love the food here and the location of the restaurant for the view. But the service needs to improved ASAP.
