   What a lovely Valentine's dinner and the Harpist was amazing. The staff was very attentive and the food phenomenal. We have been coming to Paolo's since they first opened. Many celebrations and family dinners. So many memories. We love Paolo's!

   We have been patrons of Paolo’s for over 20 years and have loved it. This time, we (2) of us were seated in the back, which was nice, but the table was set for 6 people. When we sat down, my husband started noticing dirty spots on the table cloth. I tried getting the attention of the waitress, but she was too busy talking to friends who were seated. So I went to get the hostess. When she saw what I was talking about, she said, “ok. I’ll take care of it” When she took the red table runners off, there were so many more dirty spots!! I said, “ oh my gosh! This is really dirty”. She didn’t say any thing. No apologies. Just reset the table hap hazardly, so we placed everything nicely ourselves. Needless to say, that kind of ruined it for us. Appetizers were good, salad and dessert was good. But the main course was sub par. I had ordered medium steak Gorgonzola, and the steak was WELL done, and dry. I let the waitress know, and she said, “oh let me get you some gravy”. I said , “but that won’t help overdone steak”. She said, “then what would you like me to do?” I thought she would take it back to the chef and make it right. But she did not offer that, so I said , “never mind”. My husband was disappointed in his seafood pasta also. Not flavorful He has always liked the food. I ended up eating about 1/4th of my food. These were $70.00 Valentine dinners! The waitress ended up knocking $16.00 off my portion of the bill which was nice. But, we will probably not patron there again. I think Chef Paul would have been unhappy with the cleanliness of the table, and the quality of the food.

   I have always enjoyed eating here. This last time was not a good experience for me. I don't know if more servers need to be hired. We waited a few minutes to get even water. The lasagna was excellent, the chicken fettuccini was so so. Our server was very friendly but she seemed to be so busy doing other things that I got lost and forgotten. This is a nice restaurant and it can get pricey and I realize that its a relaxed setting but we seemed to wait for every aspect of the meal and the restaurant was busy but not full. I asked for more coffee to go with the dessert (which was excellent)and it never came. I'm not sure if I'll come back and give it another try, time will tell.

   Great food and lovely service. Clearly a loyal following of clientele that are regulars. Will definitely return soon.

   We love going here. We always leave full and happy. But it is pretty spendy, so we cannot afford to visit often.

   Best restaurant in Kent and one of our favorite Italian restaurants in King County. Pasta dishes are consistently excellent and prices reasonable. On this evening they could have used another wait person, since service was a little slow.

   Had the chicken parmigiana again, it was a little tough but everything else was good so overall a good meal
