   This was our third visit. On our first visit we came prepared to order certain items because of what we saw online. They didn’t have a few things we wanted. We were about to leave when Annie came over, explained why they didn’t have certain items and made recommendations of things we should try. Everything was delicious. We come back for the food and for Annie.

   Excellent experience in every way. Food is delicious, priced well and nice portion sizes. Service was great, the people there recognize the “ regulars” and make you feel that your patronage is appreciated We always keep coming back.

   We were in the back room tonight that we didn’t even know existed, was great! Pane Rustica is always really good, last night seemed exceptional. We done there frequently and are never, ever disappointed!

   The mussels are exceptional and the branzino was prepared very well but was somehow missing the green olive tapenade. The broccolini prepared with miso was excellent! My table also ordered a pasta dish and the scallops. The fresh-baked bread was also a wonderful addition to the meal!

   The food was fabulous! Here's the rest of the story... They were out of several menu items, including pizza. How does that happen at an Italian Bakery??? Our table was positioned directly in the line of travel from sever to bar and bar to server, the constant traffic was distracting. And for some reason the servers keep offering us scallops that were clearly someone else's??? about 4 or 5 times! Bar service was slow and they poured me the wrong beer... I could tell by the color. Total we had 4 beers and 2 wines, so..... When we finally got our food it was fabulous, really good! But here's the rub - Our bill was north of $250 That's it for me and dinner at Pane Rustica, lunch only!

   Neighborhood gem! The food and service are always outstanding here! The pasta is home made and the kids loved the oysters and pizza!

   We have made Pane Rustica our Friday night spot and why not?! Excellent service, good wine and tasty food in a neighborhood restaurant with plenty of parking! Checks all the boxes for us!

   Short rib ravioli was perfect for this cold weather. Hot soup and pasta for the other diner. All delicious. Pane rustica is my favorite spot.
