Pacific Coast Grill's oceanfront venue features unique Pacific Coastal cuisine, an oyster bar, select sushi rolls, and a plethora of seafood choices, delicious steaks and more! There are two levels of dining at the new PCG with every dining seat in the house carefully planned to have an ocean view. There are bars on both levels and a heated outdoor patio and a deck with one of the best views of the Pacific Ocean and the line up at Cardiff Reef. You can watch surfers, kite surfers, dolphins, whales and spectacular sunsets from throughout the restaurant.

If you get seated upstairs just know 9/10 times they will have the beautiful ocean view blocked with plastic. The service upstairs was subpar, it’s always been top notch downstairs. They had a fixed menu for New Year’s eve and added $10-15 more to their usually priced meals. We were a table of 4 and our bill was over $400. We love PCG and it’s our favorite restaurant. We are regulars and always give 5 stars. Last night was really disappointing.

                                                                                    Our New Year's Eve dinner was an excellent experience. We arrived early for a 5pm dinner reservation, as we had show tickets for later in the evening. We enjoyed the first stop for drinks and an appetizer in the bar. John was attentive and went beyond meeting our requests. Then we were seated at the upstairs, outdoor patio which was simply lovely. (previous experiences were downstairs, both inside and outside). The view of the ocean between 5 and 7 pm was beautiful. Our food was delicious and we found the "special" menu enjoyable even though we didn't expect a "different" menu for this occasion. (Sometimes I find this a disappointment but it worked in this instance). Between the 4 of us we had the Apple Pomegranate salad, the Filet Mignon Spring Rolls (YUM), the Salmon and Tuna served sashimi style, the Wild Striped Bass and the Sea Scallops with Lobster risotto!! Cole was our server and he was On It! Very friendly, attentive and efficient. For dessert we had the White Chocolate Bread pudding with Bourbon caramel sauce which was OUTSTANDING. Cole recommended the side of vanilla gelato which everyone should get. And the PCG Espresso Martinis were amazing. Loved bringing our friends here, as it was their first time. Looking forward to another visit. Happy New Year 2025!

We had to change our arrival time several times and the team still found us the perfect table. Rachel took great care of us for a perfect dining experience. The menu is amazing and the chef and the team always delivered the best cuisine in town. We always appreciate the valets making our arrival and departure quick and easy. Thank you.

To start off with we had a fabulous table on the upstairs patio, which was totally comfortable despite the cold weather and we all had a fabulous view. Our server, Jenna, was very attentive. The seared Ahi tuna was fabulous‼️ My daughter and son-in-law both had seafood pasta, but because I am allergic to shrimp I was not able to try it but they loved theirs as well. I thought the dessert was a little pricey, but the apple pie was very good. Love Pacific Coast Grill! One of my favorite North County restaurants ♥️
