   The waiter was very nice, but not very skilled. Four people looked for the wine that I ordered off the wine list for over 15 minutes and then finally gave up and asked me to order something else. The only thing we ate was the ceviche and it was very good

   While the food was amazing and exceeded my expectations the service was only adequate and did not meet my expectations. It is obvious that this restaurant is struggling with staffing.

   I’ve come to Ostra before and have always liked it but they really impressed last night! The east coast oysters were fresh, clam linguini was dangerously good and the martinis were very well done. Service was excellent and I was grateful the moved us inside even though I originally booked an outdoor table.

   We were seated right in front of the entrance/exit of the water taxi, not close to the restaurant at all. A party of drunk individuals were seating right behind us and it was way too loud to have a conversation despite sitting right next to someone. The server seemed overwhelmed and the food was as expected. You get what you pay for, maybe not here. Overall, not a great experience for an anniversary even though the restaurant was informed of the occasion with the reservation. Would like to add that there was an unwelcome guitarist that came to the table more than once despite being turned the first time.
