   Even though you make a reservation they don't plan for it and you wait... After 20 minutes they sat us in a corner on a tiny cocktail table with seats made for kids and a table barely taller. The rooms were extremely noisy, disorganized, over crowded and stuffy. The hostess was trying her best but was clearly overwhelmed And there was an extremely noisy live band playing in the front room,. Completely out of place for what is presented as fine dining. It felt more like a bar than anything...

   Walking through the door I had high hopes, there was a lovely jazz band playing in the corner and the restaurant was full. Unfortunately, even with reservations, we were led to a FAR back room where the music couldn't be heard at all, the table was the sort one would find at a bake sale and was covered in a black plastic "table cloth" and it was rather cold. I'm not sure if this is a room they use regularly but the situation needs to be addressed better. There's a discord between being in the charming front room and being in the forgotten back room. Our servers were all very nice but they were also deeply over extended-not their fault. The food was hit or miss as well. We ordered the brussel sprout appetizer and that was nice. The pasta I ordered, pasta vongole, somehow was nearly flavorless and according to my husband his pomodoro the same. I'm not even sure how a clam pasta can end up lacking in flavor. A friend had the cabonara and I tasted it, it was delicious. Italian food is simple food with simple ingredients, these wrinkles should be easily ironed out. Sadly disappointing, hopefully they figure out some solutions because there is a lot of potential here.

   Excellent food and music- we always sit up in the front room to hear the music which is why the noise level is high… but people sit in the rooms further away from the music for quieter dinner- staff is wonderful and it our fav dinner spot!

   Live jazz ambiance was amazing, and the food was good but not outstanding: it lacked depth in the taste. Appetizers are pricy for the quantity that comes in

   So great that they had live jazz to add to the phenomenal good experience. We hung around after dinner for drinks at the bar.

   Food was excellent. Service excellent. Cocktails very good. The live music was a nice touch too. Prices are high, but no worse than everywhere else these days. Overall it was a really nice place to savor and linger. Reminded me of being in Italy.

    A friend recommended Osteria Divino, after she'd had dinner there when the Ken Cook trio played. So we went for the music (our night was Ken Cook, soloing on piano), and luckily we found parking right across the street from the restaurant, only a block away from the Bay. We were taken to one of the tables in their back room, but I asked if we could be closer to the piano, and we ended up sitting at a table for two right by the entrance, which was fine with us (although someone more sensitive to outside temperatures might not have liked it; ours was a brisk fall evening). It felt a little cramped, but I managed to momentarily overcome my introversion to chat with the lady seated next to us, who was most pleasant. Almost all the patrons were actively listening to the music. The authentically Italian food arrived quickly, and was beautifully prepared and delicious. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The walls are bedecked with large paintings by a local artist. The seating at the bar was full, so that the overall atmosphere felt cozy, cheerful, and appreciative. We will definitely return.
