Reception was excellent and made us feel welcome, our wait person was excellent and knowledgeable and made it clear on questions on the menu. Food was excellent on time and on point. Would highly recommend, while a bit on the pricey side we will still come back. Great experience for our family of three.

I've been eating at Osteria since I moved to Santa Fe 11 years ago. I don't remember when I discovered its osso buco, but ever since I did, that's what I come here for, maybe 3-4 times a year. When they stopped making it during COVID, when they were doing only take-out, I was NOT happy. Apparently lots of others shared my disappointment because, even before they reopened for in-restaurant dining, they announced they would be putting osso buco back on the take-out menu. So order and enjoy--it's really terrific!

It is a lovely place. The service is outstanding. My husband had the lasagne bolognese which was really delicious. I ordered the lobster risotto. It was like a bland porridge with lobster( also flavorless). There seemed to be no seasoning in it. I will likely return but I will stay far away from either risotto. It was recommended by our waiter. It was awful. It may be a little while before we return but we still might. I feel like such a sucker when I pay a premium price for food that is just not good.

A table was not ready for us when we arrived. After waiting about 15 minutes, they offered us a a table in the upstairs dining room. This was quiet and the service was good, but it was hardly a restaurant experience. The food was good, but we were the last customers to complete our meals. Not the best visit ever.

We went New Year’s Eve to there prefixed menu clebration. It was a disappointment from beginning to end. Ceviche was frozen. Beef was luke warm. Soup was salty to the point of being inedible. To to everything off we weren’t given a choice on desert like the menus offered but our waiter just slapped down some random desserts some of which were clearly canned pineapple and melted ice cream. Just awful all around.

Typically this restaurant is really good. New Years Eve they seemed over booked, we waited a half a hour for a reserved table, the Prix Fixe menu was not listed as required on Open Table so we didn't know we had to pay $140 per person or order ala carte for $70 - the appetizer of tuna tartar was substandard, veiny, tiny portion, we sent it back, next the steak came out over done, we sent it back the next cut came out a completely different cut of meat, not what was on the menu, it seemed like the food had been sitting in kitchen already prepared, rushed, no care taken, the staff was rushed. Granted New Years Eve is crazy, but the food was really unacceptable for the price.

Went for the New Year's Eve dinner. The three-course meal and a bottle of wine came to $190 per person! Way overpriced! Service was spotty the food mediocre and the steak very tough.
