First of all, it was our very first time visiting Roy’s and I wish I would’ve come sooner! I am not exaggerating when I say, “out of all the places I’ve visited including Ruth’s Chris, this is by far the best service we have ever received and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Our experience was just above and beyond with extra attention on us from different servers, our table was always cleaned up after we were done with appetizers to our drinks being refilled immediately!! We have the manager at our table introducing himself, we felt seen and important. We left so impressed there and will definitely come again and again!!!

Excellent service and flexibility at Original Roy', Hawaii Kai. We were a party of 3 adults and an 18 month old. We enjoyed the food, service, and understanding and flexibility of staff in dealing with our late arrival and our energetic toddler.

Go for the sunset and the service. Both are always wonderful. The waiters are attentive and friendly and know the menu well. The food we had last night was all good, especially the chicken spring rolls and the mahi. Roy's menu hasn't evolved much over the years but the predictability can be part of the draw. The signature items, like the blackened ahi and the ribs, don't disappoint.

The go-to place here in Hawaii Kai for the best dining experience. The menu has a wide enough variety for all palates and diets. The staff are always friendly and courteous. We prefer the Ambiance on the upper-level dining room, the far corner tables are best for quiet conversation.

Food is always excellent. We come here every year to celebrate my birthday. We went on Saturday night at 545. They were incredibly busy. Service was slow, they appeared to forget the keiki meal (there was 5 adults and 1 child), we had to remind them after everyone else was served. Noise was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak unless they were directly next to us, and then it was still difficult.

The food and drinks were phenomenal. Scottie(bartender) and Brandon(GM) were wonderful. They made our anniversary celebration a time to remember.
