To top it all off, we were treated to a stunning sunset view from the second-floor dining room, which added an extra layer of magic to our evening. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect meal in a beautiful setting. Oh, and by the way, don’t forget to save room for one of the soufflés. We had both the chocolate and the seasonal pumpkin.    Old famous restaurant! But cooking deteriorated! Sashimi for 30 dollars 3 pieces! Hamachi not fresh! Sword fish overcooked! Crab cakes not bad! Service ok! Not recommended

   We love the Original Roy’s. Noise level was a little high this particular evening but I’m glad to see it’s busy, as we hope the restaurant continues to thrive. We had the Zuchinni and Brussels Sprouts appetizers. Excellent! My husband and son-in-law had the Meatloaf. After all these years of visiting Roy’s this was the first time my husband tried it. And, he loved it! Gravy was very flavorful and the mashed potatoes were so creamy he didn’t miss his staple - white rice. I sampled a piece of his onion rings and they are the best I’ve ever tasted. I had the appetizer short ribs and a side order of rice. I love how Roy’s is great about customizing your meal. Daughter had the new Chiraishi Bowl. We brought in a special bottle of wine. Roy’s has a great corkage fee of only $25 a regular-sized bottle so long as the wine you bring is not on their wine list. The most reasonable fee for a fine dining restaurant that I know of. Service was exemplary - as usual. Our desserts - the world famous Chocolate Soufflé and the special Pumpkin Soufflé - always require extra time. But this night they were taking extra long so our server surprised us with a complimentary signature bread pudding! My son-in-law’s favorite. I appreciate the manager always stopping by to check to see if we had a good time.

   Always love my Roy’s experience. We’ve been going since the Original opened. My brother used to cook there so we always get VIP treatment. Our server was great. Think his name was Ben. Makani treated us great as well.

   We were blown away by the amazing food. Everything we ordered was incredible. The service was attentive and quick. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Please don’t pass up a chance to eat here, if you have one.

    Very good restaurant for a special event dinner - esp. for a reservation at sunset. Very good seafood although whole fish menu item could be moister
