Orient Express Cocktail Bar in West Village.
The Orient Express may have inspired iconic novels and films like From Russia with Love, served as the setting for bravado characters like James Bond, and been featured as the backdrop of Agatha Christie's most famous works, but the famed vintage train continues to ride through modern culture with its latest stop in NYC's West Village,
where Turks and Frogs owner Osman Cakir has re-conceptualized its famous voyages into a posh, time-reversing cocktail bar with a flair for the spirits of yesteryear.

Its look reflects the nostalgia of train travel: Amid the sexy amber glow, warm vintage-tinted beech wood panels, faux windows and bronzed luggage racks, the bar—a handcrafted Caesar Stone beauty—is the clear focal point. Above it, the ceiling curves
to each side, and behind, bartenders bedecked in old-school vests and neckties shake and
pour cocktails.

                              The waiter was rude. The cocktails were good though, and the room was nice. The non-alcoholic options are absurdly overpriced and underwhelming, I know it’s a cocktail bar but come on.

                              Hello, We are a small venue with 36 seating that opened to serve alcoholic beverages and obtained the license in order to do so, we observed some of our guests coming to our venue for only drinking water, refusing to serve what we provide, and even not consuming anything, but occupying seats. As you may understand, each chair is very valuable for us, especially during the busy nights. Therefore, we set the mocktail prices equal to cocktail prices as any "bar" located in West Village. Thank you.

                              very unique and unusual atmosphere in a great location in the West Village - drinks were very good - we go to NYC frequently and discovered this restaurant on an earlier trip in January and will plan to return next visit!

                              This place is awesome - it’s a place for total adults that want to talk to each other and not deal with people standing around and get an excellent drink. Best place in the Village for real conversation and cocktails

                              Terrible service. Bartender slammed our waters down on the table, snatched our menus away after ordering cocktails and didn’t give us an opportunity to order food.
