   Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! And would definitely recommend the Clam Chowder! Service was great and loved the ambiance on with an ocean view!

   We love Sunday Champagne brunch! Oceana has been our go-to place for several years now. There is a buffet portion with salad, cold seafood, and sushi. Then you order your entree. Ltlhis visit spouse had the pulled pork eggs benedict and I had the crab cakes. Both were very tasty. I couldn't finish my crab cakes (they were huge!) and was able to take home with me. Our server was great and my champagne glass was never empty!

   We arrived at 4pm. So we could only order off the bar menu. We had A Sushi roll & pork sliders. Neither were any good. This is the second poor food report I’ve made in 9 years. I know breakfast was great here 2 weeks ago. So we Will come back for that again.It was Halloween evening. We were dressed up and celebrating.

   This was our 33rd wedding anniversary which was put in the reservation if there was a special occasion which was indicated by myself. There was No acknowledgement at all by No One! Why ask if there is a special occasion if No Acknowledgement. May not be a big deal to some but to us it definitely was! We have been to other restaurants, and it was always taken care of when I have made reservations. But service was good, at times seemed like you were forgotten about. Food was very good. But don't think we will be going back though.

   The sushi was good, but the pad Thai was tasteless. We waited a long time for our food even though we ate at 6 and there was almost no one there. The server was super nice but we waited to be served, to get our food and get the check.

   I suppose it was all "okay" for a restaurant that's inside a hotel. The drinks were memorable in that they ranged for "ok" (my wife's merlot) to fair (my mai tai) and not good (my aunt's sav blanc). The food was also "ok". My aunt's plate was luke warm when they brought it out. My wife's and mine were warm enough to start. The service was good. And the location was nice--we had a patio table overlooking Mission Bay. But the menu is very slim, depending on your tastes. The adventure did end on one strong, positive note: the valet parking is free for restaurant diners for the first 4 hours, and maybe the self-parking, too. Otherwise we were dreading paying as much for a cheaper entree (around $30) for the two hours we were there.

    Beautiful setting adjacent to the bay. The food was very good. We had the strawberry salad, a sushi roll, and the teriyaki chicken. Musical entertainer Mike was outstanding. Server was attentive, but could have been a little more knowledgeable about the food on the menu.
