   Referred to restaurant because The Grill at the Lodge at Torrey Pine had golf tournament. I will let them know not to do that again!! 3 orders: Large thick toasted bread. Meager slice of dry chicken; not so fresh lettuce—my companions lettuce had black spots; single slice of tomato. Nice French fries but we did not eat them. 1 lettuce with chicken; guest thought it was just ok. We were there to enjoy being together; it wasn’t about the food which was disappointing, especially given the owner’s pedigree. Perhaps an off day

   We had the snapper and the scallops, amazing! The presentation was wonderful, the recommended win was very good and the service outstanding. We are not from the area and googled where to eat. A 20minute Uber ride from our hotel and so worth while! Highly recommend it for anyone seeking good seafood in a wonderful atmosphere.

   Dined solo while on a work trip to the Catamaran Resort and absolutely loved the food here! They also had live music on Wednesday that was so nice to enjoy overlooking Mission Bay.

   A beautiful setting complete with large cylindrical aquarium as the center focal point. San Diego restaurant week menu was fabulous. Want to dine outside in summer for the beautiful view!

   Best tuna melt I’ve evet had with a view to match on the patio. Reasonable prices. Excellent service. Didn’t know this hidden gem existed. Highly recommend!

   Poor quality of food for price. Steak was tough, salmon was greasy and not flavorful, pad Thai had no spice or flavor and was also greasy. The cheesecake for dessert was waxy and not good. We were disappointed since it was my daughter’s birthday and we were celebrating.
