Great great food. Sam greeted us and couldn’t do enough. Edwin fantastic server and couldn’t be more friendly. Thanks for making date night so special .

The environment, food, services are good. The only reason I gave it 3 star is the snobbish and racist hostess. She ushered minority customers into dark and neglected corners when 90% of the restaurant is empty! We came early and the dinning area was almost empty, so we asked for a booth and she refused, saying they are reserved but there are no reservations signs and no other customers around. Then she told us to leave if we don’t take the dark and neglected shady booth in the walkway. So we requested to see the manager who eventually seated us in a booth where we wanted. All of these should not need for escalation. It is astonishing to be discriminated in a liberal city who boasts equality and inclusivity. Shame on you Ocean Prime!

Delicious meal. Nice that there are wonderful dining options after 10pm. We watched a show and were so happy to dine here afterwards. Waiters were very friendly. Dinner was just perfect. We had the sea bass, lobster bisque, ahi tuna tartare, and filet mignon.

While the steak was well-prepared and flavorful, the service was appalling—easily the worst I’ve ever experienced. Our server, Scott, didn’t bother to offer coat storage, leaving us to awkwardly drape them on our chairs. Despite asking for a wine list before ordering, we never received one—not even by the time we left. After taking our order, Scott disappeared, leaving another server to bring our food. No one checked if our steaks were cooked properly or if we needed anything, and we couldn’t request sides or desserts. Meanwhile, Scott was attentive to other tables, asking if they were satisfied or needed anything—attention we never received. The blatant disparity in treatment felt intentional and left us feeling ignored and unwelcome. Sadly, this experience seemed rooted in racial bias, which is completely unacceptable. While the food was good, the service ruined the meal and was the worst I experienced during my stay in LA—or at any steakhouse. I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking respectful and attentive service.
