The restaurant was too loud; it was difficult to hear our waiter. It was also extremely dark and challenging to read the menus. We went on Christmas night and service was terribly slow, and several of our orders were messed up.

Spent over $1200 for very poor service. By the time our dishes arrived we had lost our appetite. Our Omakase had excessive over priced food that was clearly more than necessary for the table. we did not need half of it and were forced to take it home instead of throwing it away. For example: why bring the most important main courses (ribeye and wagyu and all the sushi courses) in the last 10-15 min before the end of the meal when we were already full. Then after we asked for the bill and requested to leave asap - we get all the sushi rolls. We should have turned back the final $500-700 of food that came at the last minute but did not do so as a courtesy. But we felt we were completely robbed. My parents are 85yrs old and we were celebrating their anniversary. So we did not want to create a scene. But this was shameful behavior. Did not expect this from Nobu. It was sad we spent their anniversary at Nobu.

Very, very disappointed. It should have been a lovely night. We found food and service greatly lacking, and they didn’t seem to care. Perhaps they were short staffed that night.

We love Nobu Malibu but figured we’d stay local for West Hollywood Nobu. Besides the fact they ignored my request for a nice table that I put it 3 days ahead, instead they stuck us at the worlds smallest table and gave us a waitress who after a 2 and a half hour meal we only saw her once. The bussers were more helpful than the waitress she was rude and ignored us all night. The table next to us had a male waiter, 3 couples came and went before we even had our check. There were plenty of nice tables available that remained empty the entire time we were there. Thanks for ruining our anniversary and forgetting two plates!

It took nearly 30 minutes to get our Chilean Sea Bass after all of the other food had come, we had eaten it, and the table was cleared. Then, after we finished the Sea Bass, it took another 45 minutes to for dessert and to pay our bill. And little apology from our waitress. The one hour, 45 minute limit they provided turned into 2-1/2 hours.
