Why they're an Icon

Executive chef: Jennifer Chow

From the OpenTable editors: Come to legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s Caesars Palace spot for the refined Japanese-inspired dishes that made the restaurant a global phenomenon. Dressed with lanterns and natural wooden accents, the elegant dining room sets the stage for a decadent meal of knockout sushi along with Nobu classics like miso black cod. For a full-on celebration, get the omakase menu, prepared tableside on teppanyaki grills.

Felt overpriced for fired shrimp and sushi roll that wasn’t anything but fish, rice and seaweed. The portions are small for what you’re actually getting. Would not come back, not worth it.

We sat and didn’t get waited in for 20 mins and everyone that was around us had drinks and appetizers. I had to go up to the hostess stand to get someone to come over to our table. Then they came over and didn’t ask for drinks just said I’ll be waiting on you, let me get you water and brought it and walked away. Food was mediocre for some reason.

We had heard many things and were prepared to be disappointed because there was no chance it could live up to the rave reviews we had heard. It was, in fact, even better. The Wagyu steak melts in your mouth, the Miso glazed cod was unparalleled and the dessert was one of the best I have had anywhere. My husband lived in Japan for three years and still thought the sushi was the best he had in his life. The service was kind, friendly and very competent. Overall truly an experience worth repeating.

Felt like dining on a tacky cruise ship. It started with a rather questionable table, despite the reservation note clearly stating 'Celebration' and was made worse by a wobbly chair. Safe to say, the mood took a hit right away. The food arrived first, and only then did the champagne show up served in a wine glass instead of a flute. The whole experience felt rushed and disorganized. There was nothing refined about it. At some point, the table was so cluttered with dirty plates and empty glasses, it felt less like a fine dining experience and more like a buffet on its third round of chaos.
