Lansdowne Restaurants

Had a great dinner at Tuskies tonight. We were celebrating two anniversaries and the experience was amazing. My husband and I had pork belly tacos and lobster apps. Both were delicious. For our entrees we each had elk chops that were cooked to perfection. For dessert we shared pumpkin cheesecake that was so creamy and decadent. The other couple had oysters and lobster for the apps, plus halibut and seafood salad for the mains. They raved about all of it. Our server was outstanding and really enhanced the whole experience.

This was our first time there. Service was spot on. The food was amazing. We had the beet salad for an appetizer, a different twist than what we make at home. The short ribs were so very good as well as the chicken vindaloo sizzler. The way chocolate is integrated into dishes is a testimony to the chef’s artistic skill. This restaurant is now our favorite and we will be returning. Price is very reasonable for the experience you receive.

Everything was delicious. I ordered a pretzel-crusted pork chop with drunken shrimp. This is my usual and was spot on. I had a Caesar salad for my appetizer and shared some of the mushroom flatbread that my table mates ordered. Service was perfect and the wine was quite good. We will return.

My wife and I were given a gift card for Clyde's and otherwise had never even heard of it before. Living in Winchester we don't get down towards the city too often, but I believe that may be about to change. We had a 6 o'clock dinner reservation and walked in at 5:55pm and were sat immediately. The host staff was pleasant and kind. Our waitress was also very pleasant and guided us through the menu telling us some of the popular items including some of her own favorites. Our appetizer was amazing, our main course was amazing, and we didn't leave any room for desert but what we saw around us looked equally amazing. 10/10 we will be back to try more items from the menu and soak up that ambiance of the dining experience again.

The food is always great, but this time the service was a little rocky. I think our waitress was new. We had a party of seven and taking orders was chaotic for her, though we went in order in a circle she missed a few orders and walked away before asking everyone to order. We had to flag down to come back. She also did not check on us often and we all ran out of drinks multiple times. Overall, the food was good, as usual, but we’ve definitely had better service in the past.
