Incredible Valentines meal and atmosphere. The specials were tremendous, service was great. The sea bass and miso cod were wonderful. Thank you!!

I proposed to my soon to be wife at JB Hooks and have dined every Valentine's Day there for the last 12 yrs. She has been greeted with a single rose each year. They always have a Valentine dinner special or order off the menu. Either way, you both recieve a glass of champaine and desert. Your surrounded by windows over looking Lake of the Ozarks and even at night, you have the lights dancing off the off, which makes it even more special. The owner, checks in with each table to make sure your experience is a good one. He doesn't linger but will certainly hold a conversation with you, like you are a VIP.

Baxter's made our Valentine dinner extra special. We chose the Chef's special for the evening - filet and lobster. The lobster tails were literally as big as my hand. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was attentive but gave us time to enjoy ourselves. That was quite a balancing act as the dining room was full and overflowing but we never felt rushed. Just wished we had room for dessert!

Great place to have dinner. Delicious food. Friendly and fast service.

First time visit. Old Fashion, Prime Rib and Lobster Mac&Cheese were all excellent. Can’t wait to try more of the menu.
