Artisanal Restaurant is open seasonally from May-October end. Contemporary American Fine Dining in a rustic yet elegant environment. Innovative and progressive thinking in a farm to table approach, only working with the highest quality ingredients. This warm environment offers the best food and wine with excellent service. Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Private dining room adjacent to the wine cellar available for events. The only available menu is a pre-fix style, with 5-6 choices per course, $105/ guest plus a service fee. We do not offer a kids menu however kids prepared to order off our pre-fix menu are welcome. Our Dress Code is Business Casual. Collared shirts are required, jackets are preferred but not required for men. No shorts, distressed jeans, hoodies, hats, or sandals/flip flops. Reid's Cafe and Catering

Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for. We work closely with our local farms and purveyors to curate fresh, seasonal menus that feature regionally sourced meats, a rotation of fresh oysters and select seafood. All of our breads, pastas, and pastries are prepared in-house daily. Our Bar offers local beers, seasonal craft cocktails, and a well chosen wine selection. We are currently operating under all Covid-19 restrictions and following all CDC and local guidelines. The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our #1 priority. Outdoor reservations are by phone only. We look forward to seeing you.

Americano Steak House & Wine Bar

The best award-winning steakhouse in the area! Worth the drive from Banner Elk (13 miles), Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain (30 minute drive) , Johnson City or wherever you are. Americano Steak House is a local, veteran-owned restaurant featuring hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, amazing salads, 1/2 pound steak-burgers, decadent desserts and the only full liquor bar in the East Tennessee mountains will over 100 wines by the bottle and glass.
We kindly ask that you do not show up early for your reservation, but simply on time. We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.
While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm. No shows and same day cancellations are the plague of the industry and we ask of you to uphold your end of this commitment as we are thrilled to provide on our end.

At first glance the way the tables are placed, you feel you are in the lobby restaurant of a 3 star hotel but don't let the look deceive you. Although the bar is small it is pretty and serves great high end liquor drinks. The food is simple like charcuterie, burgers and breakfast food but delicious. The staff is friendly. I would go again.

The perfect way to kick off Christmas! The restaurant's festive decorations set the mood beautifully. We enjoyed some time at the bar before dinner, which added to the experience. The food was outstanding—our table ordered the elk steak, venison, and red snapper, and every dish was a hit. Fine dining is a rare treat for us, so when we splurge, we want it to feel special. This meal did not disappoint - it was truly a memorable evening!
