- MMargaretvipSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on 30 Aug 2024We’ve traveled a lot and have never before had such amazing and delicious Indian food. From the naan, to the tikka masala to the tandoori shrimp. Just incredible on every level. Also great and friendly service.More infoLumbini RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Indian• Grachtengordel•4.8
- KKeiraSurrey •1 review4.0Dined on 26 Aug 2024Terribly slow service for two people, one being a 4 year old and we didn’t feel prioritized at all. We sat down at 6, ordered bread and one main course. They waited a half hour and until the bread was completely gone to come over and ask “can we start your main” … like what have you been doing this whole time?! took 45 minutes to get our steak form the time we ordered … wild! - PAPAULvipLos Angeles •27 reviews4.0Dined on 9 Apr 2022Cote de Bouef for two was chewy and gristly. Wouldn’t order again. Apple crumble dessert was disappointing and not what we expected as it was more of a pudding with crumbs on top than a “crumble.”. Food menu is too limited. Service and wine choices were excellent. Location is beautiful and the hotel is charming. Will try again as have eaten there twice before on other visits to Amsterdam and loved it.More infoBrasserie AmbassadePrice: Expensive• French• Grachtengordel•4.7

Discover De Pijp
Known as the Old South, most streets in this area are named after Dutch painters like van Gogh, as well as the famous modernist painter, Piet Mondriaan, who once lived here. The dining scene is equally artful, with many of the city’s trendiest restaurants located along these narrow streets, steps from the former Heineken brewery. Artisan burgers in minimalist digs earn high marks, and Vietnamese street food with locally sourced ingredients offers a fresh take on an Asian staple. For vegetarians, there’s a can’t-miss restaurant that has had a rotating menu since it opened in 1981. On the higher-end, a French bistro makes the most of seasonal ingredients while sourcing its wine directly from France. Get ready for a sophisticated trip through some of the city’s buzziest blocks.
