Welcome to Verbene Bistro,
the bistro by the Rhine.
Our kitchen offers you a small menu featuring fresh products from the region.
During the autumn and winter season, we welcome you from 5:30 PM with our evening menu, which changes regularly.
Starting in April, we will open our beautiful outdoor terrace right on the Rhine promenade.
We are very much looking forward to your visit!

Price: Moderate•Contemporary German•4.5(356)Das Pegelhaus - Erbaut 1609 diente es zunächst als Rheinkran. Im Jahr 1839 dann als Pegelhaus Station. Um 1900 wurde der Kran auf dem Dach entfernt und zur Bundesgartenschau 2011 das Gebäude um ein weiteres Stockwerk erweitert.
Heute ist es unser wundervolles Restaurant in einzigartiger Lage direkt am Rhein. Unsere großzügige Terrasse bietet ein freien und unverbauten Blick auf die Festung Ehrenbreitstein, in unserem Panorama Restaurant unter einer Glaskuppel erleben Sie beeindruckende Sonnenuntergänge im Mittelrheintal.
Unser Pegelhaus ist sehr vielseitig und bietet auch das perfekte Ambiente für eine unvergessliche Hochzeit oder eine Firmenveranstaltung am Rheinufer.
Kulinarisch verwöhnen wir Sie mit handgemachten Speisen aus unserer Turmküche. Neben Gerichten die typisch für unsere Region stehen, bereiten wir für Sie saftige Steaks, unvergessliche Burger und auch vegane Speisen zu.

We selected the wine pairing-a good idea-Beautifully curated selections of regional vineyards plus the most delicious Champagne; Perfect service as well. We were however seated but the table did not get a wipe down after the previous customers!
