Trust their recommendations, our favourite drinks were those recommended. The flavours are complex and surprising and extremely tasty. The food was excellent and the ambience perfect. It was civilised, comfortable and the music at just the right volume for a good conversation. A relatively new neighborhood in the extreme western part of the city, the first houses were built here in 1955—and the area is named after the canal Slotervaart. Right near the residential area is Slotervaartzienkenhuis, a prominent hospital, and the Netherlands Cancer Institute. While the hospital is a central attraction, the surrounding restaurants and cafes ensure your appetite stays healthy as well.
