- JJoelIndiana •28 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWhat a wonderful experience. My wife had been wanting to dine there for years but we had never gotten around to it. We went there for a special occasion. The private table allowed us to have a conversation without having to yell. Multiple wait staff made sure that our glasses and silverware were always taken care of. The presentation of the food was unique. The dessert options were very different and fun. I enjoyed the attention to detail. Thanks for a wonderful evening!More infoCafe NavarrePrice: Expensive• American• South Bend•4.8

Mishawaka is named after Princess Mishawaka, the daughter of Shawnee Chief Elkhart. Nestled along the banks of the St. Joseph River, the neighborhood boasts a rich history, and its culinary offerings are just as rich. Within a few blocks, you'll find ocean fresh Japanese fusion, tender steaks and pork chops served amid Tiffany lamps and antique stained glass windows. Even the local chain eateries feel like a home away from home, and American drive-thru restaurants make appearances at local county fairs with sirloin tip sandwiches, mashed potatoes and green beans that can compete with the best. A wonderful way to relax after a satisfying meal in Mishawaka is to stroll along the popular Riverwalk.
