We loved sitting at the counter, both chatting among our group of four adults and watching him at work preparing an amazing meal. You don’t order - just take your seat and enjoy the experience. Be sure to make a reservation! The restaurant sits up a few floors in its building with a good, new vantage point on its corner of Kyoto which was also fun.
