- MMarkVIPTucson •37 reviews4.0Dined on 6 Nov 2024We dined twice at Lo Scudo on our most recent trip to Florence. Once for lunch, and again for dinner later in the week. The food and service were both outstanding, and we'd definitely recommend for anyone looking to eat in the Centro Storico area of Florence.More infoLo Scudo Wine and GrillPrice: Expensive• Italian• San Giovanni•4.7
- BBennyVIPCharlotte •8 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Oct 2024This is a gem. For sure there are plenty of great restaurants in Bologna but La Fatica proved well worth seeking out. It’s located on a quiet back street and has a charming vibe. The food was excellent. I had Tagliatelle with mushrooms and then Contrafiletto di Vitello. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the mushrooms as good as they can be. The steak was grilled just right and came with oil and balsamico on a bed of ruccola. Yummy. The wine list had plenty of good options in the 25-30 Euro price range, I opted for a nice Refosco. Finally a note about the service. I think it was what set the place apart. Quick, attentive, professional and…should I call it personal? The best places in Italy can make you feel more like a guest than a customer. This is one of them.More infoLa Fatica - Antica OsteriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Bologna•4.8
