It’s Italia opened in 1997 as a San Francisco style trattoria and pizzeria serving gourmet pizzas, house pastas, and creative salads, always with a California Italian flavor.Thirteen years later, having moved into the beautiful Half Moon Bay Inn on Main Street Half Moon Bay, our menu has expanded to include seafood and meat selections from our rotisserie and mesquite grill, artful pastas and award winning pizza, creative salads and antipasti, and an array of house desserts. A Tuscan style courtyard patio with fireplaces and a fountain is ideal for large parties and receptions. Our full bar and locally famous bartenders create a lively social ambience nightly. Over one hundred fifty bottles line up on our wine list from Italy, California, France, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand.

Mezza Luna Restaurant

Located in the historic Princeton Inn building at Half Moon Bay Harbor, Mezza Luna offers an authentic Italian dining experience just minutes from Maverick's Beach. Celebrating over 30 years in business, we've been awarded Best Italian and Overall Restaurant by locals. Our specialties include homemade pastas, pizzas, and artisanal gelato, all crafted from authentic Italian family recipes. We use only the freshest local produce, seafood, and top-quality meats. Signature dishes include Insalata Mezza Luna, an organic green salad with fresh marinated seafood, and Ravioli Mezza Luna, homemade ravioli stuffed with mixed seafood. Experience the culinary richness of Peru at La Costanera, a modern Peruvian fusion restaurant opened its doors October 2, 2009. The scenic California coast in Half Moon Bay, overlooks the Pillar Point Harbor with sweeping views of the beach and ocean. Just a short, beautiful drive from San Francisco (25 miles). The space is grand, with 180 degree windows, two stories, and a large outdoor terrace.
We offer a full bar, domestic and imported Peruvian beers and a hand selected wine list. Come try our Pisco Sour – a classic Peruvian cocktail – and experience all that La Costanera has to offer...

Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Sam's is open for indoor & outdoor dining, and takeout. Serving lunch through dinner seven days a week. Award-winning, fresh New England style seafood, in a casual setting overlooking the ocean. Live Maine lobster, fresh local crab (in season), fish and chips, fried calamari, delicious clam chowder, award-winning lobster rolls, farm fresh salads, Cioppino and more! Gluten-free, kids menu, and vegetarian available.
Reservations are for inside the restaurant - please note that we can't hold tables in the bar area or outside patio. Walk-ins are also welcome! Fattoria e Mare ("Farm and Sea") is a vibrant Bay Area restaurant utilizing organic, sustainable ingredients sourced from local vendors. The menu will change often featuring local, fresh ingredients at their peak. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the menu places an emphasis on seafood, while also providing a range of other Venetian inspired options. Executive Chef and Owner, Pablo Estrada, immerses himself in every meal he creates. He is passionate about crafting delicious, unique dishes and ensuring all guests have a wonderful dining experience.
We were originally located in Burlingame, but have moved to a new location, nestled in the heart of downtown Half Moon Bay. Our new location allows us flexibility to serve large groups, parties of two, or anything in between. We have options for private dining experiences (e.g. work parties, birthday parties, etc.)
Happy Hour specials are offered Sunday-Thursday, 3:00-5:30. We look forward to welcoming you!

It’s always delicious at it’s Italia! We live in the neighborhood and it’s always a special occasion to walk down Main Street and have dinner there. The waiters and waitresses and all the service staff are so kind and welcoming.

I am the biggest fan of pasta Moon. The minute I walked in, I was greeted by a wonderful hostess. The ambience was wonderful great high ceilings the service unbelievable! Fabio and Luigi were so kind, I was treated so well. I had the pomegranate, persimmon salad. It was the best salad I’ve had in four years! The Ahi Tuna linguine was so delicious I was dancing in my chair! The pasta was homemade perfectly cooked. The Aji tuna was tender and delicious! it was the best meal I’ve had in so long. I am a huge fan. The pasta is fresh. I could eat it every day. I am definitely going come here once a month.
