Emmy Squared has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies. The pizza here is rectangular and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy, cheesy crust. Beyond pizza, the menu includes salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich)! Did we mention this is Emmy Squared’s ORIGINAL location? Full service bar, local drafts & wine selection. Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Thank you :).

Italian for 'kisses and hugs', baci&abbracci's Neapolitan-style pizzas and "fresh", "homey" dishes merit the trip on the L. The white-washed walls of this modern Williamsburg trattoria boasts a small bar, while the sun-kissed garden is an "enticing escape." Neighborhood folk love the bread, mozzarella and pasta which are made fresh daily. Your first order of business: Ordering a Peroni or glass of Italian wine. Then dig into belly-warming dishes like calamari, red beet and goat cheese gnocchi, and wood-fired pizzas (Time Out New York's Best New Pizza Joint 2007) . Finish off with the torta della nonna, with custardy sabayon, chocolate cream piping, and crushed, toasted pistachios. As delicious as the food, is the "exceedingly friendly" staff. A fun and beautiful old French bistro look with surprisingly roomy dining rooms. You are not jammed close to other dinners which we appreciated. Moules were truly excellent, modestly customized for us and full of fresh herbs. Very plump and delicious. The roasted carrots could be a meal in their own, a well conceived dish with ricotta and herbs. Salmon was delightful with peas asparagus and other fresh veggies, very summery though it is winter now. Have looked at Juliette from the outside many times and walked on, but am so glad I finally gave it a chance, it’s a winner (and excellent hardworking staff too! )

Somehow I just knew when I stepped in Meraki with its white stucco walls and blue shutters that I was in for an excellent Greek meal. It may also have been because one of the staffers (maybe a Manager) was singing in Greek. I had the Branzino ($50) with a Greek Salad, lemon potatoes and roasted vegetables! The fish was deboned and meaty, grilled perfectly. I love when the skin is grilled crispy with a bit of char. Fantastic!! The Greek salad was Fresh, Fresh, Fresh!! The dressing so very tasty!! The grilled vegetables fresh and roasted to perfection…you know because the sweetness of the veggie comes through. I was encouraged to try something different for my dessert. I usually do Baklava which I still ordered but in addition, I ordered the Bougatsa! My first time experiencing Bougatsa. Was sooooooo flaky, warm and yummy! The sprinkled powdered sugar and cinnamon reminds me of Ilalian Fried Dough however Bougatsa has more to offer with the crème center. The service was incredible. Dimitri our server was so accommodating and kind. Dimitri spoke with us about his hometown of Thessaloniki, Greece explaining how he came to receive his name Dimitri. Truly a kind spirit. But I think one must have a kind spirit in order to be employed at Meraki because ALL of the staff we encountered was so kind! Meraki has become my new favorite Greek restaurant in Brooklyn and perhaps all of NYC!
