From building society, to bank, to BEAR – this ornate old banking hall site on Derby’s Iron Gate stood empty and forgotten for 9 long years… until we came along.BEAR Iron Gate, Derby sits slap-bang in the centre of the city’s iconic and beautiful Cathedral Quarter; the original hotspot for high-quality food and drink.     First time here and we will definitely return. We chief the triad - delicious - fast service and courteous attentive friendly staff. So easy to book on line too which is an added bonus. Looking forward to visiting again very soon.

    Really lovely Sunday lunch at the Two Pigs! 4 lovely Sirloin beef roasts, puddings and starters! Staff very attentive, lovely atmosphere, beautifully presented food, great portion sizes. Roast potatoes were a big favourite! Excellent value for money - would definitely return again for a meal soon.

    Sometimes you get what you pay for, yes price a little higher than your average restaurant but the quality of the food and service is excellent. If your looking for something a bit different and a real treat I can highly recommend giving this a try, we had the 3 course menu and every plate was delicious from start to finish, will definitely be returning 5*****.
