Food was amazing, wont find a better place in Wrexham. However service was very slow, we were seated 15 mins late and then left at our table for another 15 mins with no server coming to take our order or offer drinks. Until I asked a member of staff what was going on no one took any notice of us. Once our order was taken everything came out in good time and they did give us free drinks to make up for the issues which we appreciated. I think with some more staff and teething issues ironed out it will be outstanding.

Excellent food with bags of flavour beautifully presented. Staff were attentive and polite. Good value with the drinks included. Only feedback would be to space out the courses more and explain what each dish is. Definitely will go back as really good experience

The White Horse was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival after a lovely short rural drive from Chester there was ample parking at front and back. We entered the premises which had a charming bar with 2 roaring log fires and a very friendly, beaming smile and greeting. We had pre booked and were shown to our table in the dining area to the rear. Lovely decor and a beautiful open, light and airy space at the back. We had a wide choice of meals and drinks and opted to go from the sharing Valentines menu. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly, attentive and professional and my partner even commented on the lovely feeling she was getting from staff and other customers. We had a Charcuterie board starter and chateaubriand main. All of the food was quickly served and cooked to perfection. We passed on dessert as the portions were plentiful. The price was very reasonable for what we got and we can't wait to go again.

We visited the Tyn Y Capel for Sunday dinner and had 3 courses for £20. The food was amazing especially for the price. All fresh and home cooked. The staff were lovely and service was quick. I will definitely be going back.
