Sometimes the magic of sharing a table with friends over fabulous food and wonderful wine can be elevated by a place. Canyon Kitchen has that impact. Canyon Kitchen uses local produce and organic selections from our own community gardens and the surrounding area to source our creative Appalachian cuisine. Our multi-course menu is offered a la carte and will change regularly, sometime daily, and is enhanced by an extensive wine list and fresh, seasonal cocktails. A $40 corkage fee will be charged for bottles up to 750ml. We recommend that all parties arrive 30-45 minutes before their reservation to take in our beautiful meadow. Reservations are subject to a $25 per person credit card hold that will only be charged if you cancel within 24 hours of reservation. 20% service charge is added automatically to each check to be distributed amongst our front line staff.     My recent dining experience at The Stubborn Bull was quite enjoyable. The establishment provided excellent service, and the food was delicious.     We come to Highlands once a year at Thanksgiving. We have a short list of favorite restaurants and don’t usually stray since we are always on limited time. We tried Oak Steakhouse for the first time this year and it is now on our not to be missed meals when we come back. The steaks were incredible. Very tender, cooked to perfect temperature and a fantastic taste. The service was top notch. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and our server made it very personal and memorable from a champagne toast to a complimentary dessert to mark the occasion. Thank you for such a great experience. We will definitely be back. See you next year!! If you are in Highlands looking for a great meal definitely visit Oak Steakhouse.
