- NNURWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoBad Roman is a true gem! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the stage for an incredible dining experience – chic, inviting, and effortlessly cool. But the real magic was in the food. Every dish was a flavor bomb, exploding with creativity and perfectly balanced flavors in every bite. The attention to detail and bold choices in the menu make this restaurant stand out.More infoBad RomanPrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper West Side•4.5
- KKristenNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWhat an amazing brunch! Everything we ordered was delicious! Not only did the food taste fantastic, it was beautiful, too. Service was impeccable. Perfect timing, food was delivered hot, and so tasty. The environment was stunning, especially decorated for the holidays. Highly recommend. Note: The fire alarms went off multiple times due to someone opening a wrong door. Staff were apologetic and handled it with grace. We appreciated the manager coming by the table to apologize (not necessary) and make sure we were having a wonderful time.More infoTavern on the GreenPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7
- KKimVIPNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFirst time going to the Plaza Hotel for afternoon tea. Pleasantly surprised with the quality and service considering the mixed reviews. Sandwiches were delicious and there seemed to be endless tea in the teapot. Mary was amazing at making this experience memorable! She was super nice, informative, and great at anticipating what works for us! Would definitely go back.More infoThe Palm Court at The Plaza HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.4
- LLisaVIPNew York City •30 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were so pleased with our first visit to Carmine's. My husband and I usually travel to NYC alone, and have never gone before because we heard how large the portions are - and they are NOT kidding. There were 7 of us for dinner, and we shared a Caesar Salad, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Rigatoni Bolognese, Eggplant Parm, Veal Scallopini, and Tiramisu and it was perfect portions. Only thing we took home was the Garlic Bread (which the 19-year-old scarfed down likely before it made it to the hotel fridge.) Paul our server was fantastic - happy to see our family reunion the day after Christmas with family from Myrtle Beach. The restaurant is crowded and loud, so expect that - but it's a fun environment and you can tell it's mostly families just having a great time. This dinner capped off a perfect day celebrating the 19-year-old's first Broadway Show.More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6
- JJillNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis is my 2nd time here. I made reservations weeks ahead of time due to the holiday. I was only able to get outside lobby area. Upon arrival I asked if anything was available inside and they had high top bar seating available at their “seafood bar”. I was with my friend and our daughters under twenty one. Since it was freezing they wanted the inside. We had no trouble talking and the view from this spot was nice. Our server Dorji was EXCELLENT. He was very attentive to our needs and made great suggestions on drinks. We decided on the espresso martini and it was perfect. Our arrival was before 6 so the prix fix was available and you definitely get a lot for your money. The salad was okay but the French onion soup was wonderful and really hit the spot on a cold day. Two of us had the coq au vin and that was delicious. My friend had the steak and was happy. My daughter ordered the NY strip off the regular menu. She loved the fries, enjoyed the steak but said the cut was a little tough. We had crème brûlée which was a wonderful way to end the meal. The location of the restaurant is perfect if you are in town for the holidays. The place was decorated beautifully as well.More infoLa Grande BoucheriePrice: Very Expensive• French• Midtown West•4.5
