I spent nearly 10 years living in Louisiana. Sometimes I get craving authentic Cajun cuisine. Doesn't get more authentic than this. Gumbo here is SO good. Key to great gumbo is the roux. You can tell the painstaking attention to detail has been adhered to. Love this place. Live music (on a Saturday night), friendly, impeccable service without hovering (thank you, Tina!), incredible food and drink, and an owner, Joby, who cares about her customers. Thanks for a wonderful evening, Brew River Creole Kitchen. In a town with many wonderful dining options, you'll be part of my regular dining places! Five of five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The restaurant was obviously short staffed, as multiple tables around us were never filled during our time and our waitress only came by when she absolutely had to-to take our order, bring food & drinks, and bring our bill. We never saw her in between and we had to ask another wait staff to bring the tools necessary for my son to eat his meal-no one thought to bring the cracker or crab fork out with his meal.

Walked in, I was greeted in a very professional manner by a nice man. I was then walked to a table with my date, and then served water by a server. After this a separate server was explaining the menu to us, and we were told the most popular items. After given some time we put our order in and received our appetizer in a very timely manner. Shortly after finishing that, we then got our entrees, both delicious and extremely fresh. I might even say that in my 18 years of living this is the best meal I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m not even joking. We were then given a box (food was boxed for us and I didn’t even realize because the server we had was so quick and efficient). After this we got donuts and affogato and again, I was pleased to discover the dessert was just as good as the meal. 10/10 experience, setting was amazing, food was delicious, service was exemplary. Will definitely be back.

This is consistently one of the best restaurants we eat at in Cincinnati. It is ALWAYS delicious, ALWAYS fast, ALWAYS right and the staff is amazing. The dining room manager is always so nice and the servers are on it! We are very pleased every time. There is a tall, dark haired female server that helped us in the past. She is an exceptional server. Kind, accurate and all around great! Also, a server that has long straight brown hair that appears to also bartend. She is also an excellent server. Y’all have a great staff!!!! You should be super proud. The kitchen has great cooks. We are so picky about food and y’all always do a great job!!! Thanks so much!!!!!

Staff was extremely peppy! They were having as much fun as we were. I suggested they should do this for Mother's & Father's Day.
