Best restaurants near me in Anchorage, AK

Reservation was for Valentines Day so restaurant was packed! That made it pretty loud and hot. We barely found parking and people were parked where they shouldn’t be or had to park a block away. We ordered cocktails, they were barely cold, didn’t taste like the last time we ordered them, they could have been better. Waitress ID a gentle man at the table that had gray hair and gray beard and told him “not to take that as a compliment she has to ID all!” Then the Waitress was enamored by my husband big feet and kept calling him big foot and commented on them all night. The chef was soft spoken so little hard to hear him at times. He put on a an okay show throughout the dinner, he was attentive and made sure everyone food was cooked to ordered which extended them time but for me worth the wait! All my seafood was cooked perfectly! The bussers were on it, clearing plates as we finished courses, keeping water cups were filled, cleaning.

Great food, anazing view. My crab stuffed haddock was cooked perfectly. Service was polite and prompt even on a very busy night. Definitely a must try!

Service was great! Food was fantastic! View was amazing! Peter took great care of us. We both opted for a Belgium beer and shared the Tuna Nachos. I had the Yum Yum Chicken Bowl and my friend had the Halibut Tacos. All of it was Yum Yum! We showed up as they were opening at 11 am on Saturday. We had a reservation, but it was open seating on the first floor, so we sat by the window. Sleeping Lady was showing off! Cold, crisp day, but the fire in the fireplace made it cozy. Highly recommend!
