    Excellent service and food in this 105 year old classic. Filet Mignon steak was perfection. Friendly and very prompt service, even though the restaurant was packed on a Sunday night. Has to be one of the best restaurants in LA.

    All 4 of our meals were fantastic! Great service too. The only thing was, the party that was seated next to us was right on top of us. It was like the lady was just off my shoulder. Much too close.

    We ended up getting stuck in traffic and over 30 min late for our reservation. We called to notify that we would be late and were still accommodated. We were over 30 minutes late for our reservation, and were told when we were seated that the table had a reservation behind us, however, we had theater tickets so it was just fine by us. It was loud in the dining room, but the food and service were top notch.

    Everyone we interacted with was terrific. My Manhattan was delicious. Food was excellent. I had lamb ragout, my friend the gnocchi. My birthday brownie was perfect. I hadn't ordered dessert but Musso's wasn't going to let me go without a birthday treat and a candle. :D My one issue relates to how I could only book a table for 2. I wanted a table for 4 to celebrate my birthday but could only get a table for 2. Then, we were seated at a table for 4. I assume the reservation system does the best it can in predicting availability but when time to actually seat people, what's available may differ. FYI - one side of the restaurant is all private booth seating - great for privacy and a bit more quiet. The other (bar) side is all tables and more lively. Finally, $14 valet for 3hrs is a great price for parking.

    It's nostalgic for sure. Old Hollywood service. Attentive maitre'd, host, server, bartender & bus. Ample portions from an old varied menu. We gnoshed on jellied console, sweetbreads and calves liver all prepared expertly.

    What a fun night. We had a great meal seated in Frank Sinatra’s booth. Staff and bartenders were wonderful.

    There is a reason Musso’s is the oldest restaurant in L.A. The food is outstanding and the martini is legendary! The vibe is also great. It is one of the last remaining restaurants of its type, and as such, must be revered and nurtured by loyal, discerning diners who understand what a gem it is.
