As the name suggests, Moules a go-go is famous for its mussels, fresh from the shores of Anglesey, served in a variety of ways from simple Moules Marinieres to Korean. The vast selection of seafood dishes ranging from traditional fish and chips to scrumptious Sea Bass is impressive, though equally appealing are the locally sourced juicy steaks . After 17 successful years in business amongst tough competition, Moules a go-go is still going strong, boasting superb food and a great atmosphere in contemporary yet comfortable surroundings. Nice place just a stones throw from our accommodation. I had a medium rare rump which I think was more rare and therefore a little cold but still overall a very nice meal.

I had the classic mussel dish which contained carrots very strange 🤷‍♂️ mussels where quite tasty but the dish was let down by the sauce which was very bland and lacking in taste which was a massive shame as Moules Mariniere is such a simple dish with tasty sauce & lots of it

We all had a different meal from the ser price menu that is very good value. Both mussel dishes plentiful and exceptional Roast beef dinners - the best, Steak and frites - perfectly cooked . Nothing left on our plates - delicious

We haven’t been to Moules for a long time, we made a spur of the moment decision to go whilst in Chester and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Returned to Moules A Go Go? after having a great meal a couple of years ago when we visited Chester. This time was as good a the first time. Tasty food and generous portions plus a great buzz about the restaurant. Not often you get seafood this good very often.
