    Lovely restaurant! Beautiful views and wonderful service. The Chilean sea bass was cooked to literal perfection. The best sea bass I've ever had.

    Great atmosphere food was great as well although we had the box our own food and did not get what we requested for our anniversary.

    Not seated by window as requested . Appetizer was not good . Waitress not very polished compared to prior servers. Truffle fries were cold and overly salted and didn’t have any truffle. Steiak try and charred on outside. Didn’t bring us special dessert for anniversary as usually ? Not a typical Monterrey experience !

    This was the worst service we ever had in years of dining here. Our server was never on the floor. When we did see her she couldn’t be bothered to tell us of the days specials, she never refilled our water, and she just took our sides away without asking. No one ever asked if our food came out ok or seemed to care at all. Fortunately the food was perfect as expected. This is either the first sign of a downward slide or our server just didn’t want to be bothered with our table. Either way it way it was a huge disappointment for what was once our favorite place.

    We enjoyed an excellent evening at Monterey Bay Fish Grotto. The food and service were excellent but the personal touches made the dinner! It was an anniversary event and we look forward to our next celebration there!

    Exceptional atmosphere and view. Service was excellent. Food was overall very good, although the filet was not the best for such a high class restaurant. Crab cakes are always a special treat.
