Honoring classic French cuisine, Mon Ami Gabi is a traditional French bistro located in the heart of Lincoln Park. Our menu features simple French food including Steak Frites, fresh seafood, exquisite bites, and French rolling wine carts. Valet is located at the corner of Lincoln Park West and Belden for $17 cash or Zelle. During the holiday season, for all parties of 9 or more, we ask our guests to call the restaurant directly to book a reservation.

                                                                                        Mon Ami Gabi always delivers on its promise to provide an enjoyable dining experience across all key aspects of the restaurant business: food, service, and ambiance. We love everything about Mon Ami Gabi, including its perfect location and beautiful building in Lincoln Park. Its affiliation with Lettuce Entertain You is an additional benefit. We will keep supporting this restaurant not only for the above reasons but also because while other restaurants took advantage of the pandemic to increase prices, Mon Ami Gabi still offers a good value compared to other restaurants in the city of equal or lesser overall quality. Thank you for preserving the beautiful timeless classic atmosphere and providing an excellent dining experience to your customers.

                                                                                        Wonderful food and service. I had the muscles that were plentiful and in a most delicious broth. I don’t remember them this good since I lived in Belgium. The escargot comes with a full warm baguette, which is a treat for dipping. Book early because this is a very busy restaurant

                                                                                        We have been dining at Mon Ami Gabi for decades. We think they lost their footing a bit post-pandemic, but on our last visits, we have felt reassured that they're back on their game. We were greeted by name by the host/manager . We then had a delicious meal, expert and friendly service and the room had a pleasant vibe. Our only issue was with the 3.5% surcharge on the bill (which we asked to have removed). We have no issue with these kinds of charges at smaller, independent restaurants. But with large corporate chains like Lettuce Entertain You, we find them problematic. We would rather give more to the team who was servicing our table. Even so, we look forward to returning.
