    Service was not up the usual and to our expectations. The mains (medium) were served at the same time as the small plates. Our plates were removed before we were finished or able to finish boxing the food. Very underwhelming.

    The most innovative, delicious food we’ve eaten anywhere, including NYC, Europe, etc. A great culinary experience in a warm, welcoming setting. Amazing value.

    Mistral is a pleasurable experience. The ambiance is very nice. Brunch was good and neither more or less expensive than most other restaurants in Princeton.

    It was ok. Service good and nice ambience. The dishes however felt heavy handed in the execution and relied on volume to bulk up unnecessarily rather than finesse of flavour. The mackerel crudo contained unpleasantly hot chillies which made my husband’s mouth go numb for a large part of the meal. In my opinion not the best value for quality within the Princeton area.

    We had a wonderful dining experience, sharing delicious and innovative plates, in the bar area of the restaurante . We were warned that our server would be the bartender. I am here to tell you that he was wonderful, attentive and amiable. In addition to his duties as bartender, he did an admirable job of tending to folks at the tables eating dinner. A real professional who understands that a restaurant is not only about the food but the overall experience and that the goal is hospitality. And it was a whole lot quieter than the dining room.

    I brought my parents to Mistral for dinner. Upon walking in, my first impression was that the decor was very sophisticated and organic with lots of wood and stoneware. The food turned out to be just as sophisticated. For 3 moderately hungry (but not starving) adults, we ordered 5 small and medium plates and a shared dessert, and it was the perfect amount of food for us. The heirloom tomato salad was so fresh and delicious. And do not skip the steamed mussels in curry and leek broth, it was absolute perfection!

    Food was really good. The service was outstanding. The ambiance was so nice. Just an overall wonderful experience. It was my wife’s Birthday and they really showed the love. Highly recommend this place.
