Our server Allison shared we us all the specials and explained in detail. The filet mignon I had was amazing and the lobster Thermidor special just melted in your mouth. It’s a great place to go relax , have conversation and enjoy a tasty meal. They make excellent drinks.

Truly a treat to go to dinner here. Our Server was excellent! He gave great recommendations on food and wine and was very attentive. The crab cake app was amazing…no filler all lump crab and the sauce was perfect for it. The porterhouse for two was cooked to a prefect medium rare, mashed potato trio and creamed spinach were great too. Also, the liquid dessert on the menu was the perfect ending. Our waiter was very accommodating and had decaf espresso for me too 😊 The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that my steak, the American Wagyu Strip, was a bit underwhelming. It was under seasoned and even difficult to cut with the steak knife so was a little chewy. I expected better for the price.

Our wait person, Allison, was attentive and pleasant. After ordering, it was disappointing to find that at 7:30pm MJ was out of the daily special. She offered a 10 oz waygu with the same sides as the 8 oz waygu special but did not inform that we were being charged for the sides. I did not complain because that is who I am, paid the bill, gave a generous tip. My friend said I should have commented to the wait person because when she offered the 10oz with sides, it sounded like a swap not an ad on. Food is tasty and well prepared. If you are not into all the butter on your meat, you need to let wait person know before food is served.

Things have dropped here a bit. Same dinner as before with my largest customer but not as satisfying as before. First, it was very difficult to make a large party reservation. Having to do a contract was ridiculous. Food was ok. Nothing spectacular. For the prices paid it should be. My wagyu steak, I ordered medium and it was well done. With such a large party and in front of my customer, I am not going to show any negativity. They like it here. The last few times have not been great for me and when you pay these prices it HAS to be! Dinner was ok. Dessert was probably the high point of the meal. The 23 layer cake is always fun. MJ's is supposedly the best restaurant at Mohegan Sun, they need to step up their game!

We celebrated a birthday and the team gave my guest a birthday card. I thought this was a nice touch and start to a fabulous evening. The food never disappoints and the tuna rice cake starter is a must have. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you for a great evening!

Best. Dinner. Ever. There is nothing on the menu that is not top shelf. My rib eye, while a bit fatty, is the most delicious ever. Nothing bad. Nothing even close to unappealing. Service is top notch. Second to none. Shout out to Janine - thank you. We save all year to make the trip to Mohegan and happy we finally had dinner on the restaurant side w the kids. What a difference from the sports bar side. If you can - treat yourself. You may have had the rest. Now have the best. Lookin forward to coming back next year !!
