- KKevinvipMobile •28 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe have dined here many times and the last three times we were disappointed in the service. Our young lady was very nice and friendly this time and was overseated. Someone finally came and offered us water. Took quite a while to get cocktails. She was very accommodating as was the kitchen to customize the pineapple situation.took forever to get wine. Halfway finished with entree. Decided to not order another glass. Paid check and went to chive where we were recognized and greeted immediately And we haven’t even been there as often as the common. Seems Like since change of management or chef service has deteriorated. After last time we said we wouldn’t go back but did thinking it wouldn’t happen again. Three strikes. You’re out. Server was good. Just no apparent floor management running and helping servers or bartendersMore infoCommon RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Southern• Historic District - North•4.6
- RRobertvipCoastal Georgia •24 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEvery time we go there, we love it. This is one me of our favorite restaurants in Savannah. Great service, great food, great selection of drinks, extremely accommodating in every aspect! If they can, the answer has always been..let me talk to the manager (who’s great), the chef (whose passion and food knowledge results in exceptional dishes), or the wait staff (all have always gone above expectations). I can not recommend this restaurant any higher than I have! When you go to a good, really good restaurant, you want others to have the same expectations and experience. This restaurant will not disappoint.More infoAlligator SoulPrice: Very Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Historic District - North•4.8
- TTrenicevipAtlanta Metro •479 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoMy husband and I ate appetizers only for dinner, along with glasses of wine. All were good, but the crab cake was a little too bready. The octopus was less tender than we've had elsewhere. The she crab soup lacked sufficient spice and was lighter than we've had elsewhere, almost milky. We asked for extra sherry, which helped the flavor. The crawfish beignets were disappointing, also. They were not light enough and needed more crawfish. Our server Kalena was very attentive and said whether she liked each appetizer that we chose.More infoVic's on the RiverPrice: Expensive• Southern• Historic District - North•4.6
- BBarbaraJacksonville / Northeast Florida •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had no idea what to expect, but what a great Thanksgiving Day buffet! I'm surprised they don't mention this on their website. Our server, Allie, was so friendly. All the staff did a great job. The food went above and beyond, we really enjoyed every bite! Worth the $$$$.More infoThe Pirates' HousePrice: Moderate• American• Historic District - North•4.3
- KKevinvipChicago / Illinois •38 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Nov 2024Started with the wings as an appetizer and settled on the NY Strip Steak as an entrée. Both were excellent and the steak was cooked perfectly. Its in an old buildingvwith a tin ceiling with rustic wood beams and a long bar. Noise was minimal during my visit. Service was excellent.More infoRepeal 33Price: Expensive• American• Yamacraw Village•4.7

Discover Savannah
The oldest city in the state of Georgia, Savannah has a rich historical past that draws tourists all year. Visitors and locals alike can enjoy the rich cuisine tradition highlighted at local restaurants and eateries. Being on the Georgia coast, seafood is definitely on most menus in the Savannah area, whether they are fine dining establishments or casual fish shacks. Shrimp and grits is an option that's always on the menu. Savannah is definitely a Southern town with chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, and pecan pie being common fare. Barbecue definitely makes its own statement, with pulled pork and Brunswick stew on the menus. Of course, all-American food holds its own with steaks and burgers.
