"THE STORY Our story began in 2018 when lifelong friends and business partners Daniele and Eduardo spotted an opportunity to bring ‘la bella vita’ to busy Londoners. Using Daniele’s Italian Nonna and her traditional recipes as inspiration we embarked on a mission to bring the best fresh pasta dishes in London town! Our pasta is freshly made daily with zero zero flour from Italy and it is combined with egg, water, and salt. Our sauces are made in-house with Nonna’s love using the freshest ingredients sourced from Italy and our UK homeland. Nonna’s dishes are finished with a sprinkle of Pecorino or Parmigiano Reggiano cheese depending on preference and tradition and of course, the pasta will be always cooked al dente, Nonna’s way!"

56 West Smithfield was founded by a family of winemakers, with a passion for creating unique, hand-crafted wines.
Our family vineyard, Château De La Cômbe, is a small, boutique vineyard in Provence. Determined to make exceptional reds and whites in a region renowned for its rosés, we spent years lovingly restoring the chateau and estate, rebuilding the winemaking cave with state-of-the-art equipment and re-planting and tending to the vines. It wasn’t long before our organic wines began winning international awards – a testament to quality winemaking in Provence.
Eager to share our wines with the world, we partnered with like-minded, family-owned and boutique wineries to bring our rare and wonderful wines to you at 56 West Smithfield, without costly intermediaries.

Discover London

If dining in the U.K. still evokes lackluster fish and chips or sorry boiled vegetables, it’s time for a trip. Call it the renaissance of British cuisine—from revived and updated bangers and mash to regional authentic Chinese, London has rewritten its own culinary story and now proudly bears the qualities of a veritable food destination. With a population of nearly 8.8 million people and one of the most popular airports in the world, the city is a bastion of cultural and culinary diversity, from an old world Parsi café and forage-forward tasting menus, to rethought English breakfasts and markets of all types. We’ll cheers to that.
