We were watching the sun go down and the lights go on over picturesque Portovenere while being served by competent, friendly and attentive staff. The food was partly delicious such as my lobster pasta and my husband’s raw salmon he took as a starter. But we were disappointed by the flavourless and rather dry red snapper and the chewy sea urchin in my husbands pasta. The smoked filet was STUPENDOUS, grandma's fritangas to start dinner were great and dessert was divine!! What an experience.. The restaurant has two fireplace areas that give out a cozy and welcoming feeling. Our waitress was exceptional. Happy we found the place and were able to have such a wonderful experience!! Forgot to mention, last but not least they have a wine that was absolutely perfect for the meal besides they have a wine cellar as well.
