- HHeatherChicago / Illinois •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur reservation was at 8:45 pm and it was not super busy. It was a fun, relaxed ambiance and we enjoyed the live music! The food was great for the most part. I enjoyed the macadamia crusted mahi mahi. The pizzas were good. Shrimp appetizer was only so-so (but our waiter did warn us it wasn’t the best thing on the menu - my daughter just really wanted shrimp). The service was great. I wish I remembered our waiter’s name because he was really friendly and engaging and deserves a shout out. I would definitely recommend.More infoMonkeypod Kitchen - WaikikiPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.6

Took advises from other diners so ordered mushroom lasagna and it was great. House salad was also great. Would go back for the ambience.More infoQuioraPrice: Expensive• Italian• Waikiki•4.6
- DDeniseVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoMy husband and I came to Mahina and Sun's last year four times, with and without other guests. We love the local vibe (dog friendly), the decor, the live music, intimate feel and the food! We shared the Ahi spread for an app. Very nice portion. Delicious. I had the risotto with roasted mushrooms and fennel sausage. Not a huge meat eater so the small pieces of sausage kept the risotto very delicate. Wine list is limited, however, the champagne choice was very good and my one class of red was actually excellent. (I work at a winery in Napa.) Of course we'll see you again this trip!More infoMahina and Sun's - Surfjack HotelPrice: Expensive• Home cooking• Waikiki•4.5
- KKatyVIPHawaii •18 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Dec 2024Awesome brunch! Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Service was excellent. Great value for the money. There's a kamaaina discount. Valet parking at the Ritz Carlton is convenient and validated for three hours. There's a time limit of your meal posted on the website but we were fortunate that it wasn't crowded that day so we never felt rushed and far exceeded the time limit without ever feeling rushed. Exceptional choices of teas - hot and cold and champagne available if you wish. We were very fortunate to get the corner table so it was very spacious and comfortable. Some of the tables for two may feel a little close to each other but it's a very small space. server was veery helpful in giving us information on the various teas as well as the order in which to experience the various items so that we could maximize our experience. May not be the best for children but a great treat for girls of all ages.More infoDean & Deluca Hawaii, The Artisan LoftPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.6

Poke, poi, lomi-lomi–colorful luau dishes endure as the shining staples of Hawaiian dining. But that doesn’t mean there’s not a panoply of dining options to spark your appetite. When you need to escape the high noon sun, shaved ice shops are plentiful. And if you’re craving something light, afternoon tea service is artful eating at its best. Bean-to-bar chocolate is growing in popularity with the fertile soils of the Aina offering just the right conditions for cocoa plants to thrive. Whether it’s resort-style dining or casual cantina bites you’re after, when made with the spirit of Aloha, you’ll taste it.
