   I have been working my way through the restaurant scene in Coral Gables as I’m here every other week. This is a find. The presentation of the salmon tartare was amazing, the tuna tartare also excellent as was the ceviche. 3 of 6 had the branzino and gave it high praise. A worthy stop for excellent seafood.

   With all the restaurants in the area sometimes I forget about this "Jewel". Mesa Mar is an outstanding experience. Thank you.

   They must have changed chefs because the food was awful. My son and his girlfriend became extremely ill from the food. The portions were ridiculously small and overpriced. And what restaurant doesn’t have cream for coffee. Overall not a good experience. It use to be so much better. I wouldn’t recommend now

   My wife and I went there for our anniversary and loved it our waiter was awesome (El Flaco) is his nickname but his real name is Roy food and ambiance are great highly recommended

   Great service and great hogfish. This was our second visit within the past 30 days. Will return again after the holidays. Bought a gift certificate to give to our friends for Christmas. Surely,they will also visit often. Best of luck and continued success.

   Excellent experience as always. Only "complaint" was the temperature...even when the area was full, it was extremely cold.

    We are happy repeaters. True seafood experience, the hogfish, freshest in Miami for sure! We invited some friends over it was their first and surely won’t be their last. Also in love with the experience. Nebbiolo, catch of the day and deserts.
