   Soooo good! I went twice in one week. Its a bit on the pricey side so be prepared to spend. However, its worth it! Great food, great service!

   Service was great as always. Ambiance beautiful. The food was another story. The Brussel sprouts were not edible. They were not full sprouts and they were so salty I could not eat them. The wedges salad was good but not much blue cheese at all and the dressing should be blue cheese for this salad. My husband and I both got the bone in strip steak cooked the same. The cook was great but his was so flavorful and mine had no flavor. It was very odd! Like mine didn’t even taste like it had salt and pepper on it and again his was amazing. Very disappointed. We like to splurge and it’s a lot of money for just an ok meal.

   We recently dined at Maple & Ash for Sunday brunch and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The ambiance is chic and vibrant, making it perfect for a special occasion. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a memorable morning. The food was outstanding, especially the phenomenal steak and the adventurous IDGAF tasting menu. While it is on the pricier side, the quality and attention to detail make it well worth it. We will definitely be coming back for the dry-aged steak!

   Maple and Ash is a really good restaurant, but I cannot stand the hostess customer service. I am tired of the hotties at the front stands at the first and second floors who really don’t know how to deal with clients who are paying a lot of money. Maple and Ash needs their front door and second floor customer service to mimic RL’s customer service. For that price point, nobody really cares what they look like. They need to look presentable and be very involved in the customers and their experience. This is the reason I don’t go there as much as I really like to because the food is really good as are the waiters and the wait staff. I have literally sat at the bar downstairs waiting for my reservation only to find out that there was no way we were ever getting seated because it was too late and they were going stop serving. And to add insult to injury, no one even came to tell us. We had to ask over and over. After an hour, we went to Luxe bar and were treated like kings.

   What an incredible meal!!!!! The seafood was fresh, the steaks perfectly prepared, the wine exquisite and the desserts devine!!!!!!! The candlelight setting was the perfect ambiance even if a bit dark, but the absolute star of the dinner was the tremendous service provided by MASON! The best waiter in Chicago. (Maple & Ash this "Employee Benefits" charge coincidentally is exactly the same as the credit card fee!!!! Ask me before you add $25 to my check!!!!! When I drop almost a $1,000.00 for dinner without cocktails I don't expect a surprise on my bill!!!!! Disclosure and ASK. 30% Tip covers the wait staff, and at your prices there is money to provide the rest of the staff--including the kitchen--with "employee benefits.")

   Fredrick, thank you for your wonderful comments about our seafood, steaks, wine and Mason's service. Regarding our Staff Benefits charge, we add a 3.5% charge to help cover health insurance, benefits, and staff wellness programs for the staff and we make every effort to be transparent about that on the menu. However, we break this out as a separate charge rather than build it into the costs of items as most businesses do, so that if you choose, we can take that charge off your bill. We will certainly weigh your feedback as we continue to assess this aspect of our business. We hope that helps clear up our intentions, and hope you will join us again someday

   Maple & Ash was such a fun and amazing experience! Our waiter, David, took excellent care of us and answered our many questions about the menu. We enjoyed delicious appetizers, mouthwatering steaks and scrumptious sundae dessert with all the toppings! I highly recommend Maple & Ash!
