                                                                    We ate here on Valentine’s Day, which was a huge mistake. The meals were generally not cooked well: my husband’s burger and son’s salmon were way overcooked and dry to the point of being inedible, and my husband’s burger was also missing a sauce that was supposed to come on it. It was unpleasantly crowded and service was rushed; we could tell waitstaff was overtaxed. We love this restaurant and will dine here again but not on a holiday.

                                                                    Couldn't ask for a better date night said my wife. We have been coming to Lyon Hall for over a decade and always have excellent food, great service and a superb romantic but active ambience. Highly recommend the mussels, bavarian pretzel, port schnitize, bread and butter, and the relatively new beer flight! A gem of Arlington and the DMV. Went during restaurant week, 3 courses, choosing anything on the menu - the best restaurant week offering around. Sante! Lyon Hall - we will soon return to enjoy your patio in the Spring.

                                                                    Lovely brunch on a wintry Sunday. The zero-proof fizz cocktail played well with our brunch entrees of lobster omelet and eggs Benedict. Side salads included wide variety of spring greens plus slices of watermelon radishes for slight tang. Basket of French bread was freshly made, warm and tasty with real butter.

                                                                    We had a lovely time celebrating my husband's retirement. The food was excellent quality and delicious. We had the octopus and it was most tender octopus we have eaten. The branzini was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Again the best branzini I have eaten. My husband had the chicken which he enjoyed. The service was excellent. The server, despite having several tables was on top of everything bringing out bread and drinks quickly. He was friendly but polite, and helped me pick a very good Alsatian wine.
