A taste of Tuscany and local treasure that is simply delicious. For over three decades, Luceti's has served Italian cuisine created by world class chef and awarded San Franciscan, Roger Bertola. Founder of the legendary Doro's, Ruggero's and master chef of Fior and the Iron Horse. Mr. Bertola was also the personal chef to generals Eisenhower and Paton. Today, Luceti's owners carry on the same tradition and cuisine that was started by Dr. Ron Luceti in 1984. Luceti's is a great place for private parties and business meetings.

We haven't been to Luceti's in years. We decided to go last night, based on the convenience of their location, and the friends we were going with. I will say that this is not the Luceti's I remember! While it wasn't bad in the past, it just has a much better vibe, now. I believe they may be under new management, since our last visit. Food was good, service was great, and price was right where it should be! We WILL be back again!

Really enjoyed our dining experience! Luceti’s is a neighborhood gem. You can tell it’s the place to go for warm hospitality and delicious food. We were a party of 3 and everyone enjoyed their entrees; calamari steak, veal scaloppini and of course pasta with meatballs. The Caesar salad was a nice beginning to our meal. Even if you are not a local, the staff and patrons make you feel you are at the right place.

It was a bit disappointing. Seated us next to the kitchen even though I asked in my reservation for a nice table for an 88th birthday dinner. The waiter was pretty much nonexistent, i had to ask someone not in waitstaff attire for a glass of wine for the birthday person (manager, owner?). Two of the 3 meals were very good, my New York steak was tough and maybe 1/2 inch thick, it did not resemble a New York. The table with the people who knew the owner/manager got nice big steaks and great service.

Luceti’s is always top notch. It’s a local restaurant with amazing food. The garlic bread is so garlicky and buttery. The chicken Jerusalem is always fantastic. The chicken is moist and smothered with thick tasty sauce. They are generous with the artichokes, but since I don’t like mushrooms I ask to leave them off and addd extra olives. The olives are large and meaty with the pits. The other dish was the calamari steak. It was not fishy at all, but mild and slightly sweet with a nice chewy texture. Definitely one of our go to places.

My friends and I had an amazing experience at Luceti’s. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a woman. Not sure if she was the manger or the owner but it was nice to be acknowledged right away. We were given a choice of a quieter area or a busier area. We choice a quieter table in the back. The servers were so nice and friendly. My friends and I were catching up so spent 15-20 minutes just chatting instead of looking at menu. It probably took us 30-45 minutes to order but at no point did we feel rushed. We had the cannelloni, chicken carbonara and cioppino and all dishes were delicious. I loved the warm, cozy, family atmosphere of this restaurant. This was my first here but will definitely come back!

Service was excellent -- thank you Stacy -- and food delicious. I will say we were disappointed in the cost of our appetizer -- two small crab cakes for $28! Tasty, but not a good value.

Went there for lunch today, two ladies, old friends. I wasn't very hungry, so ordered a bowl of Ministrone which was delicious, along with the crunchy sourdough bread. My friend had the Parmesan chicken which she loved. I, and a group of my friends, patronize Luceti's quite often and are never disappointed. Food and service can't be beat!
